GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK

When one of the most famous broadcasters in TV history Edward R. Murrow signed off he did so so by saying,  "good night and good luck."  When Mr. Todd Hostetler signed off on BCSN at the end of December 2011, he did so by saying,  "your watching BCSN seen only on the Buckeye Cable System."  Todd is going to take a one year sabbatical to help with a new church ministry. Todd Hostettler has been one of the founding fathers of BCSN and over that last eight years has done as many broadcasts as anyone in the organization. What Mr. Hostetler has brought to BCSN is much more than just an amazing number of high quality extremely professional sports broadcasts. He has brought class, respect and acceptance to a  new sports channel over the last eight years. Anyone listening to  Todd Hostetler doing play by play over the years at BCSN would know that Todd cares deeply about the coaches, the kids, and the art form of sportsmanship and competition. Todd's broadcasts are always punctuated by correctness, fairness, and a heartfelt respect for our area teachers and coaches.  Todd will be greatly missed for one year but the good news is that after his one year sabbatical we are hoping that Todd will rejoin the BCSN Network that he helped form into a success in the Toledo Community.  There really has been no on air personality that reflects the intrinsic values that BCSN tries to exhibit everyday any better than Mr. Hostetler. So as we say good night and good luck to Mr. Hostettler as he works with his church ministry, we greatly anticipate the day he is back saying," BCSN seen only on the Buckeye Cable System ".
